Child safety standards
Slab Social has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards and what we do to prevent, find and report it.
What’s not allowed
- Any content that sexualizes a minor, including images, videos, drawings, text and links.
- Grooming: contacting or messaging a minor to build trust for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to exploit, endanger or meet a minor for abuse.
- Sharing, asking for, or pointing others to child sexual abuse material anywhere.
Slab Social is for people 13 and older. Accounts we learn belong to anyone younger are removed.
How to report it
In the app, tap ⋯ on any post, comment, story, message or profile → Report → Child safety. You can also email support@slabsocial.com. If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
What we do
- Child safety reports are our top priority, and every report is reviewed within 24 hours.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and to the relevant regional and national authorities, as the law requires.
- We keep the evidence the law requires and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
- Messages from people you don’t follow arrive as requests, limited to one message until you accept, and you can block anyone.
