How slab verification works
Anyone can post a photo of a slab. On Slab Social, a verified slab means the owner proved they hold it, checked against the grader’s own record.

Scan the cert barcode or label, or type the cert number. We look it up with the grader.

Take a photo of the front, and of the back with your one-time code written next to it.

Our team checks it, usually within a day. Your slab is verified, and so is your account.

Which cards does it support?
Pokémon cards in English, Japanese and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), raw or graded by PSA, CGC, BGS or SGC. Nearly 60,000 cards, including vintage Japanese sets.
How do you verify a slab?
Add the slab, then send a photo of the front and a photo of the back with a one-time code written next to it. Our team checks it against the grader’s record, usually within a day, and you get the green verified shield.
Where do the prices come from?
Raw prices are market prices and graded prices come from recent sales at each grade, both from PokemonPriceTracker and refreshed daily. Baseball, basketball and football prices come from SportsCardsPro, linked to each card’s page there. Chinese cards don’t have prices yet. Prices are estimates, not appraisals.
Can I use it at card shows?
Yes. Show Mode scans cards and slabs at a table, totals a whole deal, and shows offers at any percentage of market. You can also find upcoming card shows near you and check in.

Slab Social is on iPhone first. Android is coming; email us to hear when it’s ready.
Does Slab Social buy or sell cards?
No. Collectors trade directly with each other. Trader ratings and verified slabs help you know who you’re dealing with.
